Sustainability is hard. Counterintuitive fact on your coffee procurement

A lot of people who come to our offices are passionate about sustainability, just like us 🤟


We also have a Nespresso coffee machine.


If we got a $ for every time someone asked "hey isn't that pretty unsustainable?", we'd no longer need vc funding 😅


So we looked into it.


Turns out, a significant correlation with the footprint for coffee is the amount of coffee beans required to brew a cup. ☕


And the Nespresso guys are pretty business savvy so it's pretty darn efficient - less coffee used = smaller footprint.


+ the recycling program for the aluminium capsules helps with the minerals problem.


+ Rainforest alliance certified for better labor standards at the farm.
